Abstract

Treatise on the magical properties of the letters of the alphabet and of the "beautiful" names of Allāh. The second half of the work only, covering chapters (faṣl) 21-40. The headings of chapters 21-30 correspond to those of Aḥmad al-Būnī's Shams al-maʻārif (Berlin catalog, 4125; Brockelmann, I, 497; S I, p. 910); the headings of the remaining chapters are different. Copied in A.H. 1286 (A.D. 1870).
